Counseling Department

Counselors are wrapping up senior check-ins, where we confirm graduation status and postsecondary plans and connect students with the College and Career Center.

Seniors applying to a college or university that require a letter of recommendation from their counselor (with a due date that falls after November 15th) should submit the letter of recommendation request process no later than Tuesday, October 6th.

Beginning the week of October 12, we will start checking in with our freshmen. These  meetings are a chance to get to know our newest students, see how they're adjusting to high school, and connect them with the resources available to them.
  • Students will receive an email from Mayté Vallado one week before their appointment with the day and time.
  • Students will be called to their appointment using a Minga pass.
  • If a student's appointment conflicts with an assessment or another event, they should contact Ms. Vallado or their school counselor to reschedule.
We look forward to meeting with each of our freshmen!

Counselors and College and Career center will be hosting a junior parent webinar on Oct 20, 2026 and we will send the link through Parent Square.

Wellness News

There are no wellness events next week due to the short school week. We hope the long weekend will give your students extra time to recharge, rest, and take care of themselves.
We’ve included a self-care checklist with simple ideas for supporting wellness over the long weekend. We encourage you to review it together with your student and choose a few to practice self-care over the upcoming long weekend.
A pink graphic titled 'Self Care Checklist' lists eight wellness activities with corresponding icons and checkboxes.
