BACK TO SCHOOL 2026
LAHS Freshman and New Student Orientation day is Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
The first day of the 2026 school year is Monday, August 10, 2026.
LAHS Back-To-School Preparation is a 3-step process which requires action from both parents and students.
Back to School Packets will be mailed out to all registered LAHS families on July 22nd.
The letter in that packet has complete instructions for Data Verification and your student's Back to School Prep day.

Step 1: Annual Data Confirmation
Parents receive an email from LAHS and are directed to update/confirm their students' data and review information for the upcoming school year using the SIS Aeries Portal. Parents can begin the annual online data verification step beginning Monday, July 27th.
Step 2: Online Back to School Checklist
Parents complete the forms and payments carefully following the instructions on the Step 2 Checklist.
Step 3: Back to School Prep or Orientation Day
LAHS Back to School Prep and Orientation Days prepare students for the first day of school. All students are required to attend their Prep or Orientation days.

Unable to attend your BTS Prep/Orientation date?
Then you will need to complete the tasks below on the first day of school, August 10th. There is no make-up Prep or Orientation Day before school starts.
- On the morning of Monday, August 10th, staff will be in the Quad prior to first period to direct students to their classes.
- ID photos will be taken on the first day of school, starting at 8:00am
- Official schedules will be distributed in first period classes.
- Students can check out textbooks after school.
