• Bring any materials you may need for the session, such as your computer, textbooks, notes, assignments, rubrics, or syllabus.
   
• If you have specific questions or topics you want help with, bring them with you.
   
• Arrive on time for your session.
   
• Be sure to sign in at the Tutorial Center when you arrive. A Chromebook with a Minga kiosk is available at the entrance.

Tutoring is provided at no cost to all Los Altos High School students.

The Tutorial Center offers support from both peer and adult tutors. Peer tutors are available throughout the school day, and adult tutors are available before and after school.

Appointments can be requested by completing the Appointment Request form, visiting the Tutorial Center in person, or emailing esmeralda.paredes@mvla.net

All tutors complete an application and training process before they begin working with students. They have also demonstrated strong knowledge in the subjects they support.

Yes. Students are welcome to drop in for support during the school day. If you would like help with a specific subject, it is a good idea to review the subject schedule or contact Ms. Paredes to confirm availability.

Students should bring any materials that may be helpful during the session, including study guides, worksheets, notes, or class assignments. Textbooks, calculators, and other study materials are also available in the Tutorial Center.
