Student Stress Awareness Panel (SAP)

Los Altos High School Student Community Leadership (SCL) presents:
Student Stress Awareness Panel (SAP)
Tuesday, November 17 | 6:30–8:00 PM | LAHS Eagle Theatre

Join us for the Student Stress Awareness Panel (SAP), where Los Altos High School students will share their personal experiences with stress, the challenges they face, and the strategies they use to manage it.

This student-led panel offers parents and peers a unique opportunity to hear directly from students about the pressures of high school life and gain a better understanding of youth mental wellness. Attendees will learn about effective coping strategies, hear different student perspectives, and participate in an open conversation about supporting students through stressful times.

Interested in attending?
We encourage all parents, students, and community members to join us for this meaningful conversation! Please sign up using the registration link.

We hope to see you there!

Hosted by Los Altos High School Student Council Leadership (SCL).

What is Minga?

We use an app called Minga for a variety of purposes at LAHS, including scheduling ACT appointments, accessing digital student ID cards, and keeping students informed about activities and events on campus.

We’re also working to improve the lunch line experience and reduce wait times for students. One way students can help is by having their student ID ready to scan when they reach the lunch counter.

Please encourage your student to download the Minga app on their phone if they have one and haven’t already installed it. Students can log in using their MVLA email address. To make this easier, we’ll include a link to download the app in next week’s student bulletin.

Students who need a new physical copy of their ID card can request one by emailing Jeanine Seagraves at jeanine.seagraves@mvla.net or stopping by to see her in the main office.
Thank you for helping us make lunchtime more efficient for everyone!

Wellness

With November in full swing, we will be hosting some fall-themed crafts in the wellness center. First up we have our fall leaf candle jars. Your student can craft a fall-inspired candle jar using colorful tissue paper and an LED candle on Monday, November 9th during ACT. The combination of creative expression and soft, ambient lighting helps create an atmosphere to support relaxation. Please encourage your student to reserve their spot in advance on Minga under Juan Arreola.
