Blue Friday Details
Date: Friday, November 6
What to wear: Your LAHS spirit gear
The game: A school-wide game of rock, paper, scissors, hosted by ASB
How it works: Everyone receives a blue beaded necklace, and winners claim the necklace of anyone they choose to challenge

When: The game starts at brunch and will not take place during class time
Necklaces: ASB is delivering necklaces to second period teachers to hand out to students. Students without a second period can get in the game by challenging another student to earn a necklace.
We hope to see you out there, and may the best hand win!
Annual Food Drive: Now Through November 30
The Annual Food Drive with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is happening right now, and we need every Eagle to help us fight hunger in our community!
Right now, 1 in 6 of our neighbors in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties turns to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley for food each month, a record high. Nearly one-third of Silicon Valley households do not earn enough to meet their most basic needs without help.
To shine a light on food insecurity and get everyone fired up to give, ASB is hosting a spirit week, including a pancake breakfast made by ASB on November 18. Just $1 provides two nutritious meals, and every donation goes directly to Second Harvest. Our community raised almost $30,000 last year, and together we can reach this year’s $20,000 goal and beyond.
Spirit Week: Nov 16th - 20th
Pancake Breakfast: Wednesday, November 18, made by ASB
Our Community Goal: $20,000
How to give: Donate to the school in general or to a specific second period class team
2nd period Teachers: Share your class team link with your second period families
Get your team ready, Eagles! The ASB Flag Football Tournament is coming to lunch on Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10, and it is going to be a great time whether you are playing or cheering from the sidelines.

Recap: Homecoming Week 2026
Haunted Homecoming Week was a huge success, and the Eagle spirit was off the charts! About a thousand students joined us for the Homecoming Dance on October 24, with amazing music, games, food, and candy. The Homecoming Rallies on October 26 were just as exciting, with a staff versus Homecoming Court game at each one (and the staff took both wins!).
The week wrapped up with the Homecoming Parade and the Homecoming Football Game on Senior Night, where we honored our seniors and announced the Homecoming Court Royals, Lucy Lai and Joey Fussell, at halftime.
Thank you to everyone who dressed up, cheered loud, and helped make the week one to remember. A special thank you to our ASB and class council students for all of their hard work behind the scenes.
In case you missed the parade on Friday, October 30, check out the video below to see all the fun!
