This Thursday is our very first orchestra concert of the year, hosted at Mountain View High School. Spread the word! Invite your grandparents, neighbors, babysitters, and friends! There will be no cash sales available at the door, but tickets can be purchased at the box office by scanning the QR code (pending availability). The concert begins at 7pm and should conclude around 8:15pm, followed by an optional reception in the Student Services Building for all audience members and performers. As a reminder, performers are expected to remain for the entirety of the concert. A more detailed schedule for performers is included below.

All students will meet at Packard Hall at Mountain View High School at 4:00 PM with instruments, music folders, and concert attire. LAHS students will ride from LAHS in a bus (see full schedule below). We will have a combined rehearsal, conduct sound checks, and MVHS Leadership will lead bonding activities for both schools. Pizza will be provided (vegetarian options available), but if you cannot eat pizza due to allergies or don’t like pizza, please plan to pack a dinner. 

Doors open to audience members at 6:40 and the concert begins at 7:00. The concert will last anywhere between an hour and ninety minutes. Students are required to remain for the entirety of the concert. After the concert, MVHS will host a reception for all guests and student performers in the Student Services Building Dining Hall. Students will return home with their families after the event. LAHS students – please note there will be NO RETURN BUS so plan accordingly!
