Schedule Change Request Process

Hello Eagles,

Students received schedules this week at our orientations. We are refining some of the class sizes so your student's schedule may have some changes before Monday. Students should review their schedule in AERIES over the weekend. If you would like your schedule to be printed on Monday morning, please come to the Student Services Building before school. 

If there are errors on your schedule, you would like to add a class to an open period, or drop a class, given you have met minimum requirements, you may request a “schedule change” for the 2026-27 school year. Please use the form linked below.


The form will go directly to your school counselor who will review your schedule change request. You will receive an email reply with an update on your request, and/or your counselor may call you in to discuss it further. If you are unsure which school counselor you are assigned to, please check Aeries.  Counselors will be addressing errors first and then review non-error change requests beginning on Monday. 


Schedule changes are approved for the following reasons:

  • Fixing scheduling errors (e.g.: same class listed twice, two classes the same period) 

  • Adding an additional 6th or 7th class *space permitting*

  • Dropping a class, given minimum requirements are met


We will not make changes based on: 

  • Teacher preference

  • Period preference (e.g. free 7th period)


Do not use this form for Honors/AP drops & level change requests. You must get a drop form from your Honors/AP teacher starting August 17, 2026. 


To request a schedule change: 


To drop or change AP/Honors level courses, students must:

  • Wait until August 17, 2026 

  • See their teacher for the drop form & discuss if this change is appropriate

  • Complete form, have a parent/guardian sign form 

    • (when applicable, have AVID teacher or case manager sign it)

  • Bring the signed form to your School Counselor to process the change

AP/Honors drops & level changes do not require the electronic schedule change form


Schedule Change Deadlines: 

  • Friday, August 28, 2026: Last day to add a class (including PE) by end of school day

  • Friday, September 18, 2026: Last day to drop a class without "W" & change AP/Honors levels by end of school day
