The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) released January 12th information of sports that outlines the color tiers and what sports are allowed in each tier. Click here to view the document.

On Friday January 14th Central Coast Section (CCS) came out with their dates for season 1 schedule of sports. The Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL) are looking at an alternative schedule to incorporate the color COVID-19 tier system. If approved then the beginning of February this schedule would include, Cross-Country, Girls Golf, Girls Tennis, Swimming & Diving.

MVLA school district is currently allowing Season 1 sports to work out under the purple tier with the CDPH Guidelines in place. Detailed information regarding the guidelines click here.  This includes Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Girls Volleyball and Water Polo. Other sports will be notified as we continue to work with our District to allow other sports to return to on campus workouts.

Athletes will only be allowed to participate in 1 sport.

At this time we ask that athletes who are in the purple tier color of sports get cleared. You can go to Athleticclearance.com to begin the process. The directions are on our athletic website. Any changes to the schedules or updated information we will post on our athletic website.

We would like to remind everyone to continue to follow California Department of Health Guidelines as we work to continue to bring back sports.
