LAPD Safety Presentation

LAHS is grateful for the support of the Los Altos Police Department. This week, Captain Katie Krauss joined our staff meeting to review emergency response procedures. While these are difficult situations to think about, it is important that our staff are familiar with this information and that everyone on campus, including students, understands how to respond in an emergency.
We approach campus safety proactively through visibility, strong relationships, and early intervention. Preparedness is one part of that work, and we will continue to review procedures regularly to ensure our campus remains a safe place for students to learn and connect.
Safety is a shared responsibility, and we encourage students and staff to report anything that feels concerning so we can respond early and appropriately.
