Graduation Speaker Application Deadline

Due
End of Day

Every year seniors are invited to audition for several different roles in the commencement ceremony. Those are as follows:
  • Master of Ceremonies (2x)
  • Pledge of Allegiance Reader
  • Commencement Speeches (2x)

Students interested in being commencement speakers should plan to provide a draft of their 2- to 3-minute-long speech. It should touch on their experience at Los Altos High School, what they and their classmates have accomplished, and the future. They should also consider sharing personal anecdotes that resonate with universal themes and offer insights that inspire and connect with the diverse experiences of the graduating class.

The MC positions will be selected from the students who apply to be commencement speakers.

The application to try out to be a speaker at graduation will be available on March 29th and is due Friday, April 19th.
