AVID

The mission of AVID is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
The college-going rate for students completing AVID is more than twice that of national rates for similar groups of students. In California, 89% of AVID graduates are enrolled in a college or university and 76% are accepted to a four-year university.
Since 2005, 86% of our AVID graduates have been accepted to and/or completed course requirements for four-year colleges and universities!
