Summer Reading Contest

Every LAHS student has a free subscription to the New York Times (if you didn't know this, check your mvla.net email for an email from NYTimes.com last September). In the summer, they sponsor a summer reading contest inviting teens to read and comment on one article of interest.

SYNC is a program that gives away two complete audiobook downloads per week–a current Young Adult title paired thematically with a Classic or Required Summer Reading title–each week to listeners ages 13+ while SYNC is in session each summer. Visit http://www.audiobookSYNC.com
