Step 1 - Annual Student Data Confirmation

 
Data confirmation will begin on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 9 am.
 
Los Altos High School and Mountain View Los Altos High School District (MVLA) require that parents/guardians update and confirm student information each year via our Annual Data Confirmation. Using the SIS Parent Portal system, parents can update and confirm their family data as well as read and sign off on all of the required annual notices.  
 
After the family data is updated online, a confirmation email will be sent to the parent/guardian email address on file. 
A printed copy of this confirmation email must be brought to the Material Pick-Up Day.

Use Your SIS Login and Follow These 5 Steps:

(Have Your Userid and Password Ready)

 
  1. USING GOOGLE CHROME, GO TO THE AERIES PORTAL PAGE:   https://mvla.asp.aeries.net/student/LoginParent.aspx?page=default.aspx
    Firefox and Safari browsers will not work well for this.

  2. LOGIN:
    - First, input your email address. Use the parent email address we have on file for you.
    - Next, input your password.
    - Forgot your password? Click on the “Forgot Password” text link below the red button.

  3. GO TO THE DATA CONFIRMATION SCREENS:
    - To begin, click on the yellow link, which states, “You have not yet completed the Student Data Confirmation Process…”OR
    - Go to the top navigation bar and hover over “Student Info” You will then see a link to “Data Confirmation” – click on that link to begin.

  4. UPDATE FAMILY DATA AND ANNUAL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: 
    - You must add emergency contacts, update any information that has changed and confirm that all information is correct.  
    - Please note: address changes cannot be made through Data Confirmation. Changes must be made through the Los Altos HS registrar.
 
  • UPDATE ANNUAL REQUIRED DOCS:
- Such as Student Emergency Card, Lunch Applications, etc.
- When the updating/confirmation is complete, the system will automatically send you to STEP 2 of the Back to School process, the BTS Checklist.
 
PRINT THE DATA CONFIRMATION EMAIL: 
Upon completion of your updates, you will receive a Data Confirmation email. PRINT THIS EMAIL, as your student will need to bring the printed confirmation for their assigned Material Pick-Up day.

Don't Remember Your Parent SIS Account?

 
DO I ALREADY HAVE A PARENT SIS ACCOUNT?
 
Yes, a Parent/Guardian SIS account was created for you if we had an email address in our system for you.
 
If you’re unclear about the email address linked to our SIS Portal, please contact LAHS at (650) 960-8811 and enter the appropriate extension:

IF YOU NEED TO HAVE AN SIS ACCOUNT CREATED:
 
You must have an SIS Parent account to complete Data Confirmation.
 
If you do not have an SIS parent account, please email Los Altos HS lahs.sis@mvla.net with your preferred e-mail address information so that your parent account can be created. **Include your student’s name and your relationship to the student.**
 
After we add your email to your student’s account, you will receive an email back with a link to SIS and your password. Now you can login!
