If you are interested in participating in Los Altos HS athletics, please review the information in this section. All LAHS athletes must complete the Clearance process for each sport, every year.

REGISTRATION FOR 2022-2023 ATHLETICS IS OPEN

Before you can participate in LAHS team tryouts or practices you must complete the online clearance process, and turn in the confirmation letter and Physical/Insurance docs these forms must be uploaded.

Academic Eligibility: Athletes must have a 2.0 GPA in order to participate in LAHS Athletics.

Transfer students: Please complete the athletic registration and then you must see the Athletic Director for further information.

No double sports in the same season: An athlete may participate in only 1 LAHS sport per season. There are no exceptions.

Transportation Fee $100.00 for each season of sport goes towards transportation costs.

ASB Card $40 one-time fee goes for officials, 1 tournament for each team, CIF Fees, CCS Fees, SCVAL Fees.

Team Designations for All Sports as per SCVAL Bylaws

Boys Teams:
Frosh-Soph: 9th & 10th grade
Varsity: Any grade

Girls & Co-ed Teams:
JV: 9th, 10th & 11th grade
Varsity: Any grade

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE DIRECTIONS

REGISTRATION FOR 2022-2023 ATHLETICS IS NOW OPEN

Before you can participate in LAHS team tryouts or practices you must have completed the online clearance process. You will receive a confirmation letter to confirm your registration.

Step 1 - Go to homecampus.com/login

The online form/process includes Emergency Information, Medical History, Sports Physical Forms, and Eligibility Requirements (athletes must have a minimum 2.0 GPA in the current grading period and no more than 1 "F" to be eligible), Student/Parent Handbook, as well as the Co-Curricular Drug & Alcohol Policy and Concussion Information.

Step 2 - Sign in to your account or register to set up an account

Step 3 - Select the correct year and school

After you have logged in:

SELECT year - “2022-2023”
SELECT school - Los Altos (CIF-CCS)
There are 2 Los Altos high schools on the list, so make sure to select the one with (CIF-CCS) after the name.
SELECT sport for clearance - Choose the sport you are trying out first.

Step 4 - Complete the online clearance

Now you will be guided through the clearance form/process in a series of steps.

At the end of each step/page, you hit the SAVE button.

If you have not completed all the required fields, a red box will appear where you still need to input information. Complete that information, and then click SAVE to continue to the next screen. The form goes through the following sections:

Personal, insurance, and physician information
- In this step, download the MVLA Physical Form & Insurance Information Sheet.
  Click on the text link in the middle of that page to download the form or download it here.
- The Physical Exam & Insurance Information Sheet MUST be signed and dated by a physician.
